Keeping track of several bills for broadband and pay TV services every month? Why bother, when you can bundle everything into one account? Several popular internet service providers offer home broadband bundles including all the data you need and the Pay TV services you want.
If you're shopping for a TV and broadband bundle you've got a range of options to choose from. You can get a traditional Foxtel plan with all the bells and whistles, a set-top box with streaming options like Fetch TV or Telstra TV, and you can even bundle some streaming services like Foxtel Now, Binge, or Kayo Sports into your monthly bill too.
Here's a guide to all the major bundling options you can find on the internet plans market today.
If you're looking to bundle a traditional Foxtel subscription with your broadband you don't have too many options. You can pick from Telstra or Foxtel.
If you go with Telstra, you'll need to pay a setup fee, a hardware fee, a connection fee, and sign a 12-month contract. Telstra may waive these these from time to time as part of promotions, however.
Alternatively, you could keep it all in the family by choosing Foxtel for your broadband plan. Foxtel NBN plans are only available to customers who already have Foxtel. As with Telstra, you'll need to sign a 12-month contract. You may get hit with setup and hardware fees, but Foxtel also waives these occasionally.

If you like the sound of Foxtel but are really just interested in the sports content, you might be better off with a subscription to Kayo. Plans start at $25 per month and will let you stream all of Foxtel Sports content live and on demand. And you can bundle your Kayo bill with Telstra broadband.
Telstra doesn't offer any discounts for bundling internet and Kayo together, but it's still nice to have the option to handle it all with one bill. If you're undecided about whether Kayo is the right streaming platform for you, see our comprehensive guide.
If you prefer to have your TV entertainment delivered over the internet, some providers offer the option to bundle streaming services Foxtel Now, Binge, or Fetch TV with your broadband plan.
Foxtel Now offers all the same channels, shows and movies as traditional Foxtel, but streamed online. Subscriptions start at $25 per month. See our complete guide to Foxtel Now for more information. Alternatively, you could bundle Foxtel's other streaming service - Binge - onto your account with prices start at $10 per month. Read more about Binge here.
If you want to get it into your big screen TV, you'll need a smart TV or a streaming device. There are several options for streaming devices on the Australian market, but if you don't want to pay for one upfront you can choose the Telstra TV and bundle it with your Telstra broadband bill for an extra $9 per month. Telstra is also the only broadband provider currently offering the option to bundle your monthly Foxtel Now or Binge bill with your broadband plan. You won't get any discounts for doing so, but you will get the convenience of handling your entertainment and internet with one bill.
If Foxtel Now doesn't sound like your cup of tea, Fetch TV is your other choice. Fetch TV actually offers many of the same channels as Foxtel (but not all), but delivers its offering over the internet via a Fetch TV branded set-top box. Several Australian broadband providers offer the option to bundle the cost of a Fetch TV set-top box and one channel pack into your broadband bill. Those providers include Optus, iiNet, Internode, Dodo, iPrimus and Westnet. See our Fetch TV guide for more information.
Picking a broadband plan can be tricky, but with so many contract-free options on the market right now it gets that little bit easier. Test out Internode with a $20 per month discount, or pick Telstra, Kogan or TPG! Regardless you'll get a discount for your first six months and you're free to bounce whenever you want.
